Harrah's Philadelphia 13th Race ?
« on: August 30, 2020, 06:29:54 PM »
Really don't want to believe in these conspiracy theories but take a look at the replay and put me at ease that there is nothing to see. Seems like the 6 (Victor 11 to 1) and 2 (Joey 2 to 1) horses play footsie with each other instead of the  2  just taking the lead.  The 4 (Nap 8 to 5) horse looks like it is playing wing man for them, and then the 8 horse (Simon 99 to 1) comes zooming bye to win. Some involved do not seem like their energetic selves ( whipping and rocking) down the stretch.  They almost look lethargic.  Nothing to see, correct?

Joey B's horse was buried on the right line. You can see as soon as he throws the lines at him in the lane, he darts inside. Guessing this is why Joe's horse didn't go by. Victor's horse was used hard to the quarter and was under pressure the entire time. The Nap horse was pretty empty off that trip, but Simon's horse was loaded from the first step.

The payouts don't seem too short. Someone else might see something different though.

I'd bet Veloce back next week though.

Thanks for the critique. I love the sport but do not bet that much and just kind of enjoy watching the horses trot or pace. This is why I did not want to jump to conclusions. You guys have better trained eyes than me. And to top it off, kind of like some of the drivers and glad I don't have to think ill will of them.
