Wasn’t at Elmo’s Hero claimed in the beginning of his career?

Not positive, but I'm thinking he was claimed originally for $8k.

St Elmo Hero   1:49.1   $793,306
Claimed out of his first lifetime start.
A N/W1 to be claimed for $7,000.
Went 19 for 19 that first year.
10 for 10 for Darcy Pletcher/ Robert Smolin befor he went out east.

I believe Pena turned Presidential Order into an Open pacer. 15K if i remember right. Lou also claimed a Mare trotter. I don't remember the name. She went on to win PA 60K Opens & i think was claimed for 10K.

No. He was 50K at the Meds. He was a solid horse to begin with.
