Dates for the Hambletonian have not been released maybe going back to the original date from DuQuoin which was the Saturday before Labor Day  ?

The Hambletonian is traditionally raced on the first Saturday in August

Gural intentionally picked late July so he wouldn't conflict and to keep all the horses in NJ until its time to ship to Hoosier

they all can race in both places
