  during these tragic days only hope our friends [or foes] north of us get thru these horrible wild fires. where i live i woke up this morning and couldnt believe what i saw. eerie feeling, more the same tomorrow. wishing ploppers oh canada and gogasgoboom the best possible. we may argue here and piss some off, but in times like this, only hope you survive. seeing videos and pictures this is heartfelt.

It just started affecting me (SE Michigan) the last few years, it really sucks. I feel sorry for the wildlife involved as well as the land that is being destroyed...

Some of the larger named fires currently active include the Southwest Kansas Wildfire Outbreak (~128,000 acres, 0% contained), Aspen Acres Fire in Colorado (~99,000 acres, 36% contained), Babylon Fire in Utah (~107,000 acres, 54% contained), and Ferris Fire in Colorado (~65,000 acres, 43% contained).

The ones in Jasper , Alberta were preventable a couple years ago. The Liberals were told for years what issues needed to be addressed. Unfortunately many of these wildfires are arson , idiots start them & they spread like crazy.

Imagine how much faster the fires  could be contained if the government stopped free handouts to the Ukraine & invested in Water Scoopers, Air Tankers etc were used with these funds instead? Common sense…
