Heard the legislature will not vote yes to allow a vote in Nov on a Casino at the Meadowlands. The end is coming and it will be painful to watch, more MADC races, less and less quality, until it's a memory just like RR.

If what you're saying is true, then The Meadowlands will become the next Balmoral Park.  A major difference the that you'll have football games, and other events at the stadium next door rather than a complete ghost town like Balmoral. 

Unfortunately, New Jersey like Illinois are too late to save harness racing, because the neighboring states beat them to it!
