As long as Beshear is gov it will thrive  he is a huge supporter  of the racing industry

His term is only until December 2027.  Then what?

Sure it’s thriving no RESTRICTIONS like at the Hebrew owned track out east

No stupid fees like the  Hebrew track out east

Better purses better horses

Everyone is moving away from the east coast racing

Outside the stakes races they have, not much of a driving colony for overnights (even though they race afternoons) LOL!

yes , its no secret its the place to be
some smart folks scooped up big dollars 4 or 5 years ago when fields were small and competition weak
it will take time for kentucky to grow their overnight racing
oak grove and corbin are not exactly big cities that are easy to get to
however over the next 3 years you will see some trainers relocate and some drivers will follow
farms and training centers are increasing as well

The same thing happened in Massachusetts and Plainridge over the last few years-especially the stakes program.

Both programs also run their programs after other states are finished with theirs!

Have mares in KY and stallions in a state like PA and forget about the grand circuit.
