IHHA lobbying for Illinois racino in Decatur
Illinois Harness Horsemen’s Association Executive Director Tony Somone is in Springfield, IL with lobbyists attempting to convince members of the Illinois House of Representatives to pass a bill by the end of their current session to allow for a racino in Decatur, IL, according to a story by Neil Milbert in Harness Racing Update.

Although they are in the news now because of a fire, Balmoral is up for sale again...and the exclusion for wagering/gambling expires this year.
