Looks like Joe is going to get 60 days and a nice fine. He is going to Kentucky. Everyone involved should get days and a fine. The joke around the track is How Many Cummings Does It Take To Fight Chindano Jr.

I'm not afraid to say it to their faces, if I get to Buffalo or Batavia I'll tell them what I think. It's a shame that was a great circuit. No Vance, McRae, Gregory, Haslip, Welch plus a bunch of HOFers anymore. Ya got Smith, McNeights, Russo's, Cumming's etc. LOt's of class, NOPE! Bob Bomar, (not many would remember him, lets see how long ya been around) used to say, just because ya got no money, ya still gotta look good.

Started following buffalo as a teenager in the mid 1970's and don't know who Bob Bomar is.
Can you elaborate on this?

Buffalo / Batavia is a complete joke and so many drug using crooks. Drug users, petrelli, McDonough, 450 lb Sam smith, rice, clouser, brandstatter/ hall, wright / kiblin, Nappo, Russo’s, Tammy Cummings, Dave McNeight jr, Jim McNeight , not jr . Now they let mego, Dakota Jackson, McCassey in , unbelievable! You get agosti as race secretary, crook. You got mike torcello on board , his 450 lb trainer smith gets multiple positives meet after meet yet still wins trainer of the meet every time. Buffalo probably doesn’t have 75 people there on race days , just a complete joke ! Very few honest trainers and drivers . Few years back driver Denny buccerri was told not to leave in this race , his replied back I’m leaving with my horse because I do what my owner tells me . They don’t like buccerri because he tries and disrupts the apple cart . Got out of the business years ago because all the bullshit . Don’t miss the bullshit and cheating one bit but still do follow it because I know some people that are involved , but their days are numbered for the same reason , they’ve had enough .

I believe Bucceri is related to someone who raced over the years there, but I don't know who it is.

Todd is still alive?

I thought Tammy ate him.

There is only one Minister in Harness Racing and his name is WEED!

Bob Bomar was a smart veteran horseman. I have no idea if he was drunk and fell out of the bike. Not every trainer or owner would give him a horse to drive--Bob was African-American and faced more than his share of prejudice on the Buffalo-Batavia circuit, just like Freddy Griffin and Honor Dunkentell did during the same era.

Honor Dunkentell was before my time.

However, I remember Freddy Griffin. His colors were red, white, and blue if I remember correctly.

There were more than their share of colorful people back then. Christorou chasing a patron around the the tarmac at Batavia because he spit at him. The Caladonia crew Vince, Carmine, all the Rapones. The tracks all had characters. Back then you didn't only raced one circuit. Ontario came down because the money was better. The Chicago crew Bob Altizer, Larry Green they brought Chucky Chrissman. French Canadians at Batavia . I've been around since the 60's, people moved around a lot more then.  Most people didn't stay around the area in the winter, they went some place to race or train.
