Despite all the usual nonsensical " Jew hate" toward Jeff Gural, I just have one very simple question to all harness racing fans in this forum. We all know he's wealthy. If he got up one morning and just said "fuck it all, i'm going close the track and sell the land", would harness racing be better off or not?

Jeff Gural is up there in age and not in the greatest health. If they don't get a casino and he passes away will his wife choose to close the track?

When he and his wife spent a few summers at the Bungalow Colony I was staying at, he was a pretty quiet guy. I remember he gave my dad a horse named "Shadydale Yankios" that he owned. Paid $12.80. I never in a million years think he would be what he is today. I would guess he must be 77 or 78 years old by now. I'm sorry to hear his health isn't great.
