This is not a flawed process or commission. Nor is it inept. It is simply corrupt.

Delaware Horsemen should be embarrassed of how their commission sounds like a bunch of inbred retards.  They aren't qualified to make a decision about what's for lunch, and they are making decisions on fines and suspensions.  They should all be out!

And of course the DSOA has nothing to say. Great job representing your fellow horseman!

I know for a FACT my trainer still uses this in my horses and wins and no ANB Fanbunica positives in DE, PA and Nj so that is not where it came from. Everyone in DE knows the source and everyone in DE knows they are cheats

Amazing that the defense said it came from a herb they were all using. The prosecution, defense and commission never tested the herb and the commission took it as evidence for a lighter sentence.

The Delaware Harness Racing Commission consists of five members. Well, it’s supposed to, anyway. Right now, there are apparently only four members of the commission. One seat is vacant. Beth Steele is the chair of the commission. George Staats is another commissioner. The other two are Jack Berberian and Stephanie Liguori. Patt Wagner, who was vice chair of the commission last October when the combined case was heard, is no longer on the commission. When the case was decided last October, only Steele, Staats and Wagner presided. I was told that Ligouri missed the first hearing in the case and then recused herself from the rest and that Berberian recused himself because of some sort of perceived conflict of interest.

why is there a vacant seat?

why is Patt Wagner no longer part of the commission after the case was heard?

why were only three members present when the case was decided?

why were two allowed to recuse themselves and why weren't the details of "conflict of interest" explained?

why are they Governor appointed?

this all wreaks

Commissioners are all dumb as fuck and the dsoa doesn’t protect its hundreds of members that weren’t on trial so they wouldn’t upset the ones that were.  Complete bullshit!  Smells of Tony Morgan shenanigans with the list of people involved.

They probably all got together and paid for the lawyer together since they would all have the same defense
