Watched the race. Gotta disagree. No one cuts a mile out if they're gonna stiff a horse. Horse was done before the three quarters when he hit him a couple of times and shook the lines. It's a trotter -- down the lane the horse was spent -- he was just holding him together so he wouldn't run.
