This is for all of the fantasy stable guys.  It looks so easy to point to the winners in hindsight but I'd like to see
the predictions and come back in a year and reflect on your purse results.  I am curious to see what the knowledgeable
select and the results.  Prices based on the actual sales prices at Lexington and Harrisburg.

  • dougie: IIB, I think the mayor will sign the bill if it reaches his desk. The optics on this issue is bad for the horse carriage industry. Animal activists are adept to using the media to enlist horror and anger by the public.

  • Ignorance Is Bliss: It's now a bill with city council. Public hearings will be scheduled then the council votes on it. If passed it's sent to the Mayor to sign into law. He has already said he's in. Marte just took over, Bob Holden is the actual author of the bill who retired last year.

  • dougie: IIB, I have been reading some of the work Councilman Marte has been doing on this issue. I think he might be successful with passing the 'Ryders Law" Bill this time around. The image of the horse dead on the street has even been seen here everywhere. If the animal activists can get this on the ballot, who knows how the vote will go.

  • Ignorance Is Bliss: Pretty cool speaking on the steps of city hall. Imagine someone who fights for the horses, not jamming needles and tubes in them like your heroes.  [link]
