The Return to Glory RaceTrack is Backkkkkkk

Yes that is correct, HAWTHORNE HARNESS IS BACK IN ACTION TONIGHT

Yeah we don't have Tyler George running our track

Or Tetrick, Delong, Wilfong Or DOUBLE OO calling the shots anymore

No Promotions People like Prewitt, Otten Twins or Jim Miller

We have BATES, LEONARD, CARTER BOYS, GARY RATH....Best drivers in the sport....

We have straight line formation to the stretch before anyone pulls......

If you have some extra funds, sprinkle a little funds into our wagering pools......

We can use the support

Also one step away from a house bill being called in Springfield to build a racetrack in ILLINOIS......

Enjoy the wagering because it could be our last with CLUB HAWTHORNE AND CRYING CAREY

Also LUCPARK, keep taking that ozempic (looking Great) and paying Erv Miller and Melissa Essig a 40,000 a year in training bills.

Sweet

Hawthorne races Fri Sat Sun and they have 31 races and almost all good field sizes. I know Chicago racing is a shell of its former self but at least these next three nights it looks like they have a good product.

Does this mean no more Hawthorne and finally some decent racing with actual purses in Illinois?  And will Lucpark be allowed there?   ngc3

I remember going to Hawthorne back in the 70's and 80's and the Saturday doubleheaders were fantastic. Now the place is a shit hole. Thanks Carey.

  • dougie: IIB, I think the mayor will sign the bill if it reaches his desk. The optics on this issue is bad for the horse carriage industry. Animal activists are adept to using the media to enlist horror and anger by the public.

  • Ignorance Is Bliss: It's now a bill with city council. Public hearings will be scheduled then the council votes on it. If passed it's sent to the Mayor to sign into law. He has already said he's in. Marte just took over, Bob Holden is the actual author of the bill who retired last year.

  • dougie: IIB, I have been reading some of the work Councilman Marte has been doing on this issue. I think he might be successful with passing the 'Ryders Law" Bill this time around. The image of the horse dead on the street has even been seen here everywhere. If the animal activists can get this on the ballot, who knows how the vote will go.
