Crime rates are down because they stopped charging criminals for shoplifting, indecent exposure, vandalism. San Francisco now looks and smells like a sewer due to all the homeless with no bathroom access

The dems need to stop decriminalizing crime.

I'm sure where there is homeless there's a stench.

Every major city has homelessness.

I'm sure it breaks our heart how many are former military vets, people with mental illness...substan ce abuse, they need to dig to find the will to stop, it's no excuse.

I found this too about their sewer system, it's a real problem too....

There are numerous Republicans I like, and numerous Democrats too. Pelosi is not one of them, LOL. I have long felt she has zero bipartisanship, postures for party or self only, and is contentious, argumentative, and has zero desire to be part of the solution, unless it's hers. While a lot of that is part of politics, it's not necessary to be exclusive and constant. I just think that's who she is. So be it. A happy and healthy retirement to her.

It's been proven time after time that pelosi has all been convicted of insider trading. She's always been a corrupt politician

While I am not a fan of Pelosi, the fact is, there has been a lot of attention and "looking" at her and her husband's alleged insider trading. There's been accusations, evidence shown, and a lot of talk. However, neither has been indicted, found guilty, and certainly not convicted, of insider trading. Whatever the evidence is, apparently it does not rise to the level that triggered a formal investigation that resulted in charges. Neither has been prosecuted. I am sure some will say it's been swept under the rug, she got off, and so on, but that and about $6 gets you a fancy frappuccino at Starbucks.

Doesn't he realize if she was convicted time after time she'd probably be in prison. Doesn't he realize you have to be charged with a crime first to even be convicted?

I despise the futile BS discussions of the person is 100%, definitely, obviously guilty.....BUT, they've never been charged/indicted/tried, because of whatever. The whole discussion is a waste of time. Someone says she's guilty. Someone else says prove it. Discussion over. Waste of time. Do I believe she's guilty? Probably. But this it is what it is. Like it or not.

Horseplop posters tend to think everybody is guilty of something even if there's no evidence to back it up.

Guilty is a finding.

A conviction is an action.

One that never happened.

Yet MAGA Sakit said it did.

My last comment was just a general statement, I wasn't referring to anyone in particular. Are you saying Sakit is wrong, he already has her on death row.

  • dougie: IIB, I think the mayor will sign the bill if it reaches his desk. The optics on this issue is bad for the horse carriage industry. Animal activists are adept to using the media to enlist horror and anger by the public.

  • Ignorance Is Bliss: It's now a bill with city council. Public hearings will be scheduled then the council votes on it. If passed it's sent to the Mayor to sign into law. He has already said he's in. Marte just took over, Bob Holden is the actual author of the bill who retired last year.

  • dougie: IIB, I have been reading some of the work Councilman Marte has been doing on this issue. I think he might be successful with passing the 'Ryders Law" Bill this time around. The image of the horse dead on the street has even been seen here everywhere. If the animal activists can get this on the ballot, who knows how the vote will go.
