Trotting trainer gets sent a pacer to turn into a trotter

Horse won like 175,000 as a pacer with 14 wins from 49 starts and is by Art Major so owner in Aussie says they had him trot a mile in 1.57 without any practice. So he has his 1st start as a trotter and wins. His trainer Phil Williamson is recognized as the best trainer of trotters down there.

I love stories of double gaited horses.

The race is nothing to write home about but horse looks like he can trot a bit. In Australia if you convert t a trotter you have to race against horses in the open category but in NZ you can switch gaits and be a maiden again
