Another dark gambling day
« on: October 23, 2025, 10:42:52 AM »
This morning
34 total arrests. Eastern NY
Mafia and nba'ers

Pro b'ball prop betting fixing Terry Rozier, etc. (sounds like Jontay Porter fall out).

Damon Jones,

Operation 'Royal Flush'
Poker fixed big time games inc xray glasses, altered shuffling machines, xray tables that could read upside down cards, etc screwing fish out of millions (one guy lost 1.8 mil)
Chauncey Billups, Hall of Famer and big time mafia families headlined. (i thought the mob was on way out..not so fast)

NBA has co-operated...nothing to do with college b'ball.

Its only going to get worse, college is next, 2nd tier players see 0 NIL money, they are going to get their share one way or another.

I've been following the story closely. FBI Director Patel just had a press conference. It looks like their will be two separate cases. Fraud in sports betting using inside confidential information and fraud/fixing poker games. Money was "laundered" through illegal wire fraud. The indictments out of the Eastern District Of New York slightly overlap as the NBA is cooperating with the feds.

Just his playing career, Chauncey Billups earned over 100 million.  Why the hell  would he need to be involved with crooked poker games

Will not hurt BASKETBALL one inch as everyone knows that money greed are part of life as why do the richest people on earth have need to do anything in order to increase their wealth when it means nothing as they have surpassed the amount the need many moons ago any any more money makes no change to their lives but they will ruin lives to increase wealth,  This is just another story that is interesting story about the reality of life and gets people to speak reality,     The NBA shows wILL BE TALKING ABOUT THIS AND NOT DO A HARNESS RACING LETS GET RID OF THIS STORY,  Steven A SMITH and barkley and SHAQ do a great job talking about the sport with honesty,  Racing show people would pretend this never happened and the people that exposed this story would be barred if it was a racing story and the public would be left in the dark as is always the story in harness racing,

*Stephen A. embarrassed himself today covering for these guys blaming trump by this dropping bomb on his league on opening day.

*Shaq tonight said he was ashamed of these guys.

*I include a clip from Outkick, a 2023 podcast hosted by high stakes poker player Matt Berkey. Pls cue in to 27:14 and play to 30.58....He speaks of a poker game his poker buddies spoke of that started in L.A. and finished in VEGAS about 2019 featuring Chauncey Billups and around the table a mix of horrible mob-tied players and well heeled pros or 'fish', who proceeded to be fleeced. It didnt matter that they were horrible players, they were in on the scam, and winning the mafia-fixed hands. (There may have been mention of Paul Pierce somewhere in vicinity too. a fish? or ??)
..anyway, cue in to this clip

Those “big fish” in the card games are not going to take kindly to this attention and embarrassment.  This is the kind of stuff people get killed over.  And those who were taken, have the money and power to make it happen.  Also sounds like Porter rolled on a lot of people in the nba scandal.  Wonder what his fate will be?
