Two additional things to know: it is currently open season to hunt deer by bow and arrow in Ohio; it is illegal to hunt in Ohio after sundown. Arrows do not generally go further that 50 yards, so whoever shot the horse, had to be fairly close. Note that some people were caught outside of Cincinnati (opposite corner of the state from Medina), trespassing, after dark, hunting with a bow and arrow and wearing night goggles.
