I don't begrudge anyone for not disclosing information before the fact. That's part of parimutuel wagering. To some it's business. Regardless, Waples is not a natural as a commentator. I think with some training, in time, he could be an excellent color commentator. That's why they have him. He has insight, perspective, knowledge, etc., that nobody else in the booth could ever have. He just can't verbalize it, LOL.

I have never seen a place run like WEG as every person they hire should be fired,      In vegas the decision makers all gambled in their life and usually the gambler is happy with decisions made and its not DAVE  hall of fame and that cracks me up when i read that making decisions on who the best horse is for gambling purposes and Randy is in the same boat as the key is to tell us who is the best value for you betting dollar,      I have seen NYRA shows and heard and heard Andy Serling  say that a 3-5 shot who was on the running in his last race and is 0-18 is a complete joke and that makes him someone you want to listen to and ive seen a horse 2 hole and finish third at 3-5 and Randy will say that he was a good third and should be better next time and there is no reason to believe he will be better,           In ONTARIO  the AGCO RUNS gaming and poker is huge in Ontario but the AGCO runs the show and these are people who never placed a bet and online poker is  dead and again the people in charge run racetracks and Alcohol and Cannabis sales and the people in charge are RICHARD Simmons type people and that make it hard to deal with,     All you have to do is copy success and in VEGAS the MAFIA started the show with great food and the being treated like a king with good food and great shows with parting gifts with you play and use your points and Since the MAFIA left the scene Vegas is not as well run as the Mafia people all had gambling mentalities and thats a key,

If you gave any one of the poster gamblers on here with a zillion posts like PIGLAND or trigger or Lucpark or Calhoun and others you would have happy gamblers as i am sure that no decent sized gambler would pay for programs and the food would be top class and they would listen to regulars and make changes when needed but most of all the racing of today would not happen without change and that is having people that understand because they all gamble
