Check out exacta at race 2 keeneland.  A little short eh? Supposedly someone bet a $400 straight 7-5 in the last betting cycle, which Im assuming closed at the top of the stretch for them😂😂😂

I'll second that.

Considering the trainers, jockeys too, looks like an insider job.

I caught the exacta in the next race, 11 horse field, 12-1 and 20-1 (10 / 11) and it came back a little over 200 and I thought that was short, but the 2nd is nuts in comparison.

Looks like the super went unscathed.  $18k for a dime.

Like i figured a payoff like that shows up and every gambler should be in fear but the truth is there are no gamblers on this site,        Lat year a horse dropped from 17- to 5-1 when leaving and i call and found out that the bet of 1000 came in from sudbury and it was legit as it came in with 2 seconds before the gate left and 2 days later a horse droped from 7-1 to 5-2 and the tri and super both came back real bad and i was told the bet came in from redeau carlton and it was legit and i called about 5-10 more times and the bets always came in from hick towns and always legit and yes this was extreme but it happens almost every race and they are usually much smarter about it,         Try beating a 20 percent rake with computer bettors stealing and no paced racing and then try to figure out how to bring new people into the game that is the worst form of gambling for your dollar there is,        Al Capone stole less than these people and how about a 3000 carryover at three in the morning at Korea and with a minute to post 2500 in the pool and after the race i see 47000 at 3 in the morning and the next race 1200 in the super pool and when i called up they told me they could not get the info on where the bet came from.

Does anyone think that racetracks are going to spend huge money on protecting the gambler and if they told horsemen that this would come out of the purses it would be a 95 percent no as how can that help the game would be their way of thinking,                 A few years ago every big ticket was coming in from Oregon and this was for a long time and now they come in from places with populations of 14 people,          Most of the people i know play the game and over 90 percent have not made a bet in a while and speaking to someone who works at the red mile i was told that people who made bets everyday for a long time have had enough and no loner call,      What a system with speed winning every race and computer bettors betting into a product that is made for them,

Racetracks and ADWs are not interested in protecting the gambler, never, ever.

Casino neither.

You mean like loyalty, as far as they go is what rebates are about, here's some change for your bills.

They just want bets, they don't care who is getting cheated just keep wagering and where's my government subsidy when applicable.

Here's the last 3 betting cycles.

Time    / Pool Total  / 7-5 Probable / 7-5 $Bet/ Increment
1:33.37  / $126,987  /    $1,021     / $100      /
1:34.07  / $165,883  /    $1,334     / $103      /    $3
1:34.27  / $195,604  /     $286       / $549      /    $446

$446 was bet on the winning combo during the last 20 seconds of wagering.

Compare that to ALL races.  I put on the APP. I often bet when the gate is in motion.  There are many computers and cables involved to update the pools and odds.

What do you mean "Compare that to all races?"

In the last 20 seconds of wagering, the percentage bet on the winning combination was 28 times the what it was in the prior 40 minutes.

What am I supposed to compare that to?

I would have quite quite distraught had I bet a $2 7-5 and saw that it was paying $1300 as they're getting to the gate, only to collect $280.

Who wouldn't lol?

If you saw that before (while in shock  ngc3 ) you could of pounded and at least cost averaged knowing you're getting jacked on the back end.  But as Calhoun pointed out virtually no reasonable time.

Win, WP would of been smart at that point.

(Not seeing it before) At first I would of been thrilled post race pre-result.

In the sense of not winning in rapid fire lately and being in the black, for me, a win is a win, even being a disappointment, beggars losers can't be choosers lol!   ;D

There is no reason to ever bet these larger signals. Keeneland. Nyra. Delmar. while there are still smaller signals available if you like to bet horses. Just forget that the biggest signals even exist. Caws have destroyed them as viable options
