The Secretariat Club, Tuesday, 9/23/25
« on: September 23, 2025, 09:21:55 AM »
At Finger Lakes today are two MSW's, the 1st and 3rd, and yesterday their track was sloppy at last race, with the weather continuing as it did, a little inclement I'm estimating Good - Sloppy today, possibly changing over the course of the racing day.

Horseshoe Indianapolis aka Indiana was sloppy too Monday, and they cancelled during their card, not sure today, looks like it will be Fast - Good because of dryer weather after racing yesterday, and I'm looking at the 6th race, a MSW race there.

Parx was Fast yesterday and should be Fast today, a MSW in race 7 for moi.

The first seven races at Harrington look like decent quality, and I will take a look at those too, was also Fast yesterday and should be Fast today too.  15 race card there starting at 4:30 pm.

I will have to be a bit patient when making selections so I can handicap the races for their accurate surface condition at the time they race.

Good Luck!   ;D

Good luck Indy!! I got my Horseshoe Indiana ticket ready, but waiting to post it as T said off the turf and sloppy. There will be some scratches. I might try the Finger again, depending on scratches. Mohawk, not sure,  that 26 dollar pick 5 yesterday was ridiculous

Trig I know you were looking at Finger Lakes 1 and 3. Those maidens are tough. Race 1 the 2 will be heavily favored. The only autotoss is the 5. Race 3 would be the all button for me. Horses switching distance and surface. I love the 5 in race 2.
Race 4 leaning towards the 6, but 3 and 7 definitely could win. Race 5 is wide open. 2 and 9 will be co favs. One has a 3% winning percentage, the other is 6%. Good luck today

Thank you brother always makes it tough when you handicap for turf then their off. But money to be made regardless just makes it more puzzling. I hear ya its sickening there , but imo alot of nights like you noted are pay nothing bullshit , but now and again if you beat some heavy chalk there they pay well just have to find some bombs 💣.  Anyhow good luck where ever you wager  tmbz1

You are correct about Mohawk. The ONLY reason I play that early pick 5 is the guaranteed pool. The buddy system is on full display there every night. The verticals are unplayable because of the CAW.

These guys must live the life of leisure already 4, 5 races deep into Finger Fucking Lakes, by my response time here the whole card must be under wraps for them  62za.clp

Yes I am familiar with both, but thanks for the link..Like you and I discussed about a month ago, maidens are usually the races that derail my horizontals, so I've been trying to avoid singling them whenever possible unless it's a slam dunk, or there are to many in the sequence. The link and other site are a great source of info, but until the horse is  in a real race it's a crapshoot.
