Lexus Kody is no joke. He's a huge animal with a flawless gait. I haven't followed his whole career, bur peripherally I wasn't sure if he'd handle a flat half, and he clearly did.

Burke's didn't develop him. No surprise there; he has the owners to back up buying for this level.

I'm no fan of the Burkes. I think they couldn't give a shit about the welfare of any horse in their string. But they sure can keep one "sound" and going. And have the money to buy when they can't produce their own.

You guys do realize that trainers are clearly using stuff that they can't or don't test for. I'm not singling Burke out in that lot.

Like Ron personally or not, the Burke stable is the most impressive operation ever seen in the sport/industry. Absolutely unparalleled. You can't argue that. Period. I think people talk more about Burke because the operation and numbers are so big. More people get beat by him. Any discussion about illegal drugs and so on is no different than the same discussion about anyone else. Burke's an easier and more common target because of their size. Burke has had positive tests, no different than virtually every other great current and former trainer/horseman-----Tony Alagna, Jimmy Takter, Steve Elliott, Brett Pelling, Ake Svanstedt, Joe Holloway, Linda Toscano, and others. Designer/exotic drug(s) or not is a rabbit hole argument. It's either a regular, normally used, therapeutic type drug, or it's not. Case by case.

Burke has a lot of quality horses. He’s not going to risk the well-being by giving them some mystery drug. He’s number one for a reason.
