The man had a young wife and 2 young children...and killed because of a difference in political views. How would anyone on here like it if your loved one was gunned down or shot for no reason. People have always disagreed politically in this country - especially cross generationally. It is the divisiveness that creates extremism. Charlie contributed and benefited greatly from that divisiveness. It has also lead to the killings of the Minnesota representatives, January 6, Pelosi’s husband being assaulted, the planned kidnapping of Gretchen Whitmer and Trumps assassination attempt. The college tours are not done in an effort to drive civilized dialogue on difficult issues. They are done for content creation. Each stop provides several interactions - with mostly intellectually inferior counterparties - that eventually get cut up and posted to drive clicks amongst his followers. If the young liberal wins only those in attendance will ever know. This is the part of the current environment that the older generations (mostly) fail to understand - what you view is curated at all times and agitation sells best.I suspect this will only continue to escalate until Trump gives into his authoritarian desires or the political and ruling class decides to tone the rhetoric down. It will also continue to be elevated by inflations continued impact on the lower and middle classes while they witness the continued increase in wealth inequality.

You are obviously biased for what the college tours were about. He did register a LOT of new republicans on those tours and got them to vote. I think you would even agree he allowed college conservatives to have a voice on campus and not have to be intimidated by the liberal majority anymore. If we can bring a manufacturing base back to America than it will help with wealth inequality.
