The Jockeys at Remington will not ride until they receive a new contract. IMO they deserve it as they put their life on the line every race.
What I’m curious about is every race in 4-5 horses with all the scratches. They had to recruit Jockeys from other parts of Southwest and Midwest to ride. I’m wondering if they will be viewed as “scab” jockeys by the jocks refusing to ride?
I can remember NYRA had a big strike and the fill ins that crossed the line and rode, were never treated well after, and I believe were never welcomed to join the jockey guild.

Remington Race 3- I liked #7 Hard Gold. I just saw everyone else scratched. A question I always had- if you’re an owner or trainer, and your horse is in a 2 or 3 horse race, why wouldn’t you race since you’re guaranteed purse money? Unless god forbid the horse falls

maybe some of trainers and owners are showing some solidarity by supporting the striking jockeys?
