NEW YORK (NewsNation) — More than 40 suspected gang members were arrested this week on New York’s Long Island as part of a crackdown on violent crime in the area.
The multiagency operation, which began Aug. 13, targeted multiple notorious gangs, including MS-13, Trinitarios and 18th Street. The 42 people arrested range in age from 18 to 50 and have been accused of terrorizing Nassau County for years.

Thirty-three of those arrested were in Immigration and Customs Enforcement custody without bond Wednesday, awaiting deportation.
Authorities said they also seized guns, machetes and knives in the sweep.

At least the secret police are removing garbage from the streets.  Deport this bunch asap.
