Honestly short fields & zero interest for a long time.

Georgian Downs is 1/5 favorite to be the next to close….

Congratulations [I think] Whip on your selection to the Plop HOF.
I'm sure it's a dream come true. You must be very proud.

why do they have a Flamboro and London?

I realize the agricultural aspect-but don't need Flamboro

Rideau and Hippodrome race for less than peanuts

also not sure why Kawartha even is alive-they could consolidate a lot of this

It’s too bad Kawartha can’t attract more horses or get more stakes races there. They actually get a crowd on Saturday nights, which is more then what can be said for 90% of tracks honestly.

Western Fair is the hub for all SW Ontario horsemen. Its product gets bet and still gets enough people out.

in the day,,,lots and lots of 5/8 action there,,and terrific prices with 9 horse fields. fri nights and sun afts,,good stuff
AND MAYBE MOST IMPORTANT TO NOTE, FRASER 'CAMERA POSITION WORK' AS GOOD ANY 5/8 TRACK.
always on top of the action, inc. perched right over finish line.

To the tech crew and annouuncers thanks for excellent work over the many yrs.,and to  the track maintenance team, well, maybe the toughest job in canadian racing keeping those turns together.

Finally,
the last post covid yrs, deadly bad, short fields and FAR TOO MANY SHENANIGANS week in week out with names like Hoerdt and Campbell etc. stealing $$$ from the wagering patrons and other horsepeople.

hopeful many of the horses find homes...always the hardest part of the story.

I used to like Rick Uppal calling the races there. Eight behind the gate and one a little late.
