Facts. To be successful in this game and get the drives to earn the way he does, there's no choice and you HAVE to do business with the good and the bad. I told Jason long ago, he's the best half mile track driver on the planet even without the edge gifted by driving for guys like Banca, Dowse, Marks, Millici "ex Marks beard", and Engblom. And he showed that hand the first time he called me to back off Ford because it was causing issues with his wife's friend who is a "good girl", his words. Then he asked that I "be nice" to Richie Banca at his sentencing which I said.....Are you fucking serious? This when we were still very close. The topper was when I posted the Josh Marks picture of him in Ford's barn wrapped in tubes, holding a bucket and funnel and Jason called me begging me to take it down. Then I snapped, BUT I do get it. To keep earning the way he does was he going to tell those people fuck off? He can't and most people wouldn't either. That's the business today. But I did remind him that even during the Pena years when he got knocked off his throne he did pretty well driving third choices. And he knows every word I typed here is the truth. And now he's even figured out the big track which was his biggest weak spot. And even though he may say trophies only collect dust, I know he wouldn't mind a BC, or Meds Pace or Hambo trophy in his office. Any driver needs something between the shafts, but Jason does have the ability to put them where they belong and control a race as well. Does he drive for the "juice" barns? Yep. Is he or has he been associated with certain people we all talk about? Yep. It's just reality.
