Tariffs put on hold by Reagan judge. Says President doesn’t have authority to issue unilateral tariffs under 1977 law invoked  as national emergency. Seems like a trade deficit doesn’t qualify. Looks like will head to supreme court.

After hours stock market up huge as wall street plainly knows the excessive tariffs suck for business and consumers. Every time he announced tariffs market goes down then when he chickens out it goes back up.

There is now an actual name used on trading like this and it is called TACO (trump always chickens out) trading. Really he got asked at press conference today about it.

No, I don't!

Please tell us so we can find out whether this is fact or fiction!

Only 6 percent of federal workers show up to work in person.

Mike Campbell   "I hold a truckload of PLTR, PLTU and NVDA. What is your opinion on NVDA's earnings announcement coming up?"

You must be pumped about the Q1 2026 results.
Even taking a large charge for the tariff reduced sales to China, the stock is solid and rising.

Do you have any plan for getting out or is NVDA a long term core holding?

Is anyone else tired of all the winning?
Jobless claims UP 14k
Continuing claims UP 26k
Corporate profits in Q1 DN $118.1 billion
Q1 economy overall shrank .02 %
Can't wait to hear how it's all Biden's fault from MAGA land, even though his economy had the lowest unemployment in 60 years, and the US economic recovery post Covid was the BEST among all G20 nations.
We were the envy; now even Putin is laughing at us and his orange dupe.  11.wp

https://www.mckinsey.com/industries/public-sector/our-insights/us-government-productivity-a-more-than-2000-per-resident-opportunity

Mckinsey claims there is a $750 billion per year improvement opportunity in government public services.    They claim it could be achieved with no reduction in service.
I expect governments to find it.

FYI, ‘claiming’ (saying it) is one thing!  Actually implementing and doing it is another thing!

Federal level?
State level?
Local level?
School district level?

Right wing?
Left wing?
Both??

Biden economy was outstanding for the wealthy!, the cronies, the donors and Wall St. It was horrendous for middle income earners.

Good evening TROLL,

Under Trump, it will be even worse for the middle class earner.

Thanks for posting.

I've owned NVDA since 2009. I was a little disappointed today. I thought it would hold above 140 but there is a lot of political pushing and pulling going on that is affecting the share price.

Musk knows the deal. He was used for DOGE and then they show all they wsnt yo do is spend trillions.

Musk’s criticism: Elon Musk, the billionaire who led President Trump’s effort to cut government spending, condemned the president’s signature domestic policy bill as a “disgusting abomination” that would swell the “already gigantic budget deficit.” Mr. Musk’s posts on his X platform, just days after an Oval Office send-off where he and the president took turns praising each other, also assailed House Republicans who voted for the bill and said that Congress was “making America bankrupt.”
