Monticello on a Thursday
« on: April 25, 2024, 08:57:23 AM »
Good day yesterday -- hoping to catch a price today but mostly playing Keenland today

Race 1   #3  Miki De Vie, should be a Price --- started to make a pretty good move then got shut off around last turn,
wasn't going to win regardless, field walked to the half and came home in 57.3... He may not be much,
but could wind up being a nice price in an average field.

Race 4    #7 Carolina Magic  -- looked to be locked in for life and no way to reach, he angled from the rail to the
four path in the lane and was rolling at the wire to get up for the win.... Kinda glad he drew the outside.
Had he drawn inside - he would probably be 1-5

Race 9    #4 Real Thing --- Just a lousy trip last week, bad flow and since he couldn't get into a place to make an
impact, it looked like Sowers looked to fight another day.... Maybe today.
