For all the money they race for at---

Oak Grove Racing and Gaming----look at the driving and training colony!

At least some not so good drivers and trainers won't starve for a few weeks on the purses checks they get for the duration of the meet.

All thoughts and opinions welcome!!

The big boy drivers invaded last year and took the lions share of the purses. Look for the same again this year. Mondays and Tuesdays outside of Borgota at Yonkers are dead for the big guys and Oak Grove will be their two day a week vacation in April, May and June.

All Kentucky tracks--harness and tbred-are the beneficiaries of "historical racing machines"...a slot machine type

Turfway just had record purses and handle

Keeneland will see purse increases

Churchill purses will go up

The Red Mile purses are going up

Oak Grove horses racing for way more than they are worth

and the big stables are buying up farms there too. Investing big money into breeding standardbreds and converting farmland to state of the art harness training and racing facilities; It's a big WIN-WIN for everyone.
