Mohawk Thursday
« on: March 21, 2024, 09:48:25 AM »
Race#1-#7 MOXIEBOW 5-1 ML Ships to Mohawk after last weeks trip around Western Fair, same speed & staying on trot would get the job done tonight. Wray driving assures we get a price, won’t be the favorite.

Race#2-#3 BETTORHOLDONTIGHT 3-1 ML Flashed solid last quarter speed last three starts, got away too far back last week, had too much work to do. Hudon will be bet heavy in here & will try to bottom these out, James gets cover, can get up in the lane.

Race#7-#6 STREET ART 9-2 ML Super consistent in this class, raced well last start from the back of the best, expect a different strategy from Fillion tonight. Should be busting the gate from post 6 tonight, competitive race, will go off bit below ML.

Best of luck!  tmbz1

I've got trio of picks. Hope there isn't an emergency tonight or we'll have to call the squad with the Dr. no longer in the house.
Shame, was a good contributor on this thread. Sadly, not so much on others.
Race 1 Enchanted Angel #3 Against my better judgement, I'll try this one one more time. Etsell good trot trainer,
Though not a good driver. Still think just point and click. I think if he just would go down the road and try and rate so much ,
he's clearly the fastest.
Race 4 Winning Alliance #3 Splendid seasonal debut. Ratchford coming on as a driver. Anything like the last gets it done.
Race 8 Tyron Bow Tie #8 Ratchford again. Flying late in a conservative season debut try. Showed good enough speed
last year. Hopefully sit a little closer than last week. Ratchford is hungry but can get torched at times trying to leave.
Not afraid though and I think has the horse power in here to back the bravado.
 Good luck Mohawk players. tmbz1

race 1--#3 Enchanted Angel will be 3/5 or less

several lengths faster than these

I  strongly agree with Rabbit's other two selections

Best of luck to all tmbz1

Two plays for me tonight

8th. #8 Tyrone Bow Tie--- He made up a ton of ground on a night when horses weren't doing that. Looks the best in here tonight.

9th. #2 Mulligan Philly--- Also looked very strong at the end of that last race. Filion should take all the money, should offer square value.

Good luck to those playing tonight

That Enchanted Angel looks like one of those perpetual maidens, especially with Etsell.
That four was all legs and like Pucks said took alot of $$ off one average Qua. 1:56.2
Tough to expect that, though he won by like 7 or 8 so 1.58 would have done it.
