Hinsdale and the NH/Vt fair circuit - we would race em every 3 or 4 days with maybe a week in between once for the whole Summer.

I would've raced him four times in ten days these things aren't pets they are investments treat them as such and when they can't race turn them into food or glue

I’ve seen 2 year olds race more often  that. Sometimes every other day and ship 200 miles on the off day and that was in mid summer heat.   I once saw where a horse raced 4 times in 8 days. As I recall some were 2 heats. The horse dropped dead on the track the last time.
I wrote the USTA suggesting there be a rule on how many heats a horse could race in a given period.  Had PETA seen that there would have been repercussions.
Their reply was “Standardbreds are known for their durability”.

as much as I don't want to say this if you say nick isn't a horseman you obviously aren't very smart I can't stand the guy but he does know his shit can shoe cut tendons he's the best at that stuff
