Saratoga Racino - Bad Accident Just South on Rte 9 North

Was on my way to racino. About 4:10 horrible car accident on 9 north right at stewarts just south. Unfortunately had to be serious injury or fatality. Accident was only about 100 yds north of me. Traffic at a total stop. Intersection of 9 with "cherry" something or other road. Would not surprise me if rte 9 stays closed for awhile. Had to be 10 cop/s h erriff/trooper cars plus 5 fire truck/emt. They wouldnt let us through- just turning us all around.

Was going to teletheatre upstairs to watch big m. Tv is saying rte 9 closed in both directions. Apparently car motorcycle accident. Hopefully no fatality but might be closed till late tonight or even tomorrow am. When theres a death, forensics take some time. On way back south on i87 (northway) traffic was even messed up there going north. Did see 1 horse trailer going north pulled off - not sure if harness or thoroughbred. Probably getting guidance on best rte to circumvent accident. Id get off northway above exit 14? maybe and try to get south

Motorcyclist deceased unfortunately. Not sure how could happen. One going north on rte nine the other south.  Somebody must have really lost control of vehicle.
