RIGHT NOW ITS UP IN THE AIR (LITERALLY)! SHELBYVILLE TBREDS CANCELLED SO MY GUESS IS WE ARENT RACING TONIGHT.  THE AIR QUALITY IS PRETTY BAD RIGHT NOW. MAYBE THE WHOLE COUNTRY OF CANADA WILL BURN DOWN ONCE AND FOR ALL.

Glad to see them cancel. All of those guys who gave the EPO shots two days ago just lost money. Hope they scratch for a few more days. All the wasted money on pre race 2-3 days out hopefully will burn their asses.

Please see the following update on behalf of Harrah's Hoosier Park for the status of the racing program for June 29, 2023.
The racing program for Thursday, June 29th at Harrah's Hoosier Park will take place as scheduled.  At this time, the risk from unhealthy air quality levels is currently declining and the forecast indicates it should continue to diminish throughout the day. The Harrah's Hoosier Park team and the ISA will continue to monitor the levels in Anderson, IN to ensure the safety of our racing participants.  If the air quality remains below 200 as predicted, racing will not be impacted.  You may find the current air quality level by visiting www.airnow.gov or downloading the Air Now app.

JOHN DELONG AND STOHLER AND HOCHSTETLER TOLD ME THIS MORNING THAT WE'RE RACING NO MATTER WHAT THE AIR QUALITY IS. THEY WERE PISSED OFF THAT WE RACED QUALIFIERS YESTERDAY MORNING AND THEN RICK MOORE FOLLOWS WHAT THE OTHER TRACKS SAY AND CANCELS. BUT YOU CAN BET YOUR ASS WE'RE RACING TONIGHT SO I'LL SEE YOU GUYS IN THE PADDOCK LATER.

  • dougie: Private games are cash only. But the table uses chips to cause no confusion. Buy-in it $1G with 2 other buy in allowed. It is strictly Texas Holdem. Is is no limit but most of the players know each other. No kids playing. I'd say the average age was about 40. Food is included. Usually subs and pizza. Occasionally Chinese food.
