Did Howard Oil just get Fired ?
« on: November 30, 2022, 12:48:16 PM »
At the start of race 1 he said race 2 underway and called all the names as if it was race 2. Then I hear a different voice announce the post parade and race 2.
Howard screwed up big time and called the wrong names and now he’s gone.

The replacement is a lost cause. I think in the last he called almost every horse in the two hole.

Better off just muting sound.

He is back.  Short termination, just needed to sober up.

He’s still drunk. He called the wrong horse on the lead at the half and called the same horse second in the pocket while that horse was first over.

Now he’s calling Jimmy DeVaux on the 3 in race 6. David Yarock is driving.

That's hilarious!  Is the guy an alcoholic or something?  He had to be hammered to put on a show like that today.   ngc3  ngc3  ngc3

Howard tapped out after 2 races today. I think his replacement is the guy from Tioga. He sounds pretty good.

Howard Oil can't be fired. He has a "no fire" clause in his contract. That was written in when he first took the job. Many tracks wanted him back then and this was the only way Monticello got him. Good for him. he's paid his dues.
