So, The only winner in all of this is the USTA, Not the horseman who got defrauded. Nowhere does it say the purse money had to be returned for redistribution. Just fines and where does that money go? USTA!

I agree 100% !!! Purse money should be returned and redistributed. Other horseman got SCREWED in all this! Hopefully we will never see a Wagner at a track again. But Stacey, Wisher and Braden should all get the boot as well. They were ALL in on the corruption. And also, Rosecroft should be held accountable as they were also in on this. If you look at who runs that place...something tells me they knew what was going on and allowed it. This was one hell of a corruption ring. Quite disgusting.

Maybe Wagner will learn he's a bad cheat and thief..He always has gets caught but keeps on coming back again. Guarantee he's not out of the business 100% I just hope the IRS gets involved in all of this!

Didn’t fill out paperwork properly with horseman’s bookkeeper so they have yet to recieve purse money from Md sire stakes at RCR. But can make fake Wells Fargo bank statements 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

What the Wagners did happens on a regular basis. USTA needs to hire a forensic accountant with the fines they received

Unless Racing commission somehow intercepts it. I don't see how they can hold it once the paperwork part is straightened out. No ruling was for them to return purse money Guess this is a case for Howard Taylor!

They will appeal and Howie will strike a deal and they'll be lucky to get a dime! Unless there's a way for garnishment this case is over and done. They'll hide all assets and move on.

Garnishment? Wouldn't that require some kind of actual court order/judgement? Not the USTA clown court.

They could make the fine a Dr. Evil one billion kajillion gazillion dollars and makes no difference. Plus aren't these open ended detrimental to harness racing revocations? So what leverage do they have except for saying if not paid you can't get your membership back. And exactly how would a 501c6 account for these funds? Who are the victims???

Yeah. I'm not too sure on the legality..But something in the realm of obtaining financial gain through false pretense or fraud? I'm not a lawyer and don't know the laws concerning this fiasco.

The USTA and SRIF or whatever they want to call themselves have ZERO power to collect much less levy anything against anyone. This isn't a financial responsibility case like not paying fines where they can suspend your membership and stop you in your tracks. Only one I see that will work is the Stacy woman who got the $5000, if she doesn't pay they can squeeze her.
