I think you all know I'M a TB guy. In me world if every 1-9 or 1-5 ran out I could have 2 million posts. WHO the FUC would bet those races. Sure you could go ALL over heavy chalk in EXACTA or you could part wheel all,all,chalk layin him 3rd. What you gonna make. IN me game bettors got a idea what gonna happen. And who the FUC follows every track when bettin. You concentrate on 1 or 2. You might look for play at different tracks and look for DROPS,FRONT WRAPS OFF,and track conditions. I get your game different. Most if always only going a MILE on half or 5/8THS,or mile. But give it a BREAK. No horse wins continuiosly. I had a aggressive argument with MR. DUCHHICIOUSAW at ARLINGTON 4 days after he let CIGAR set a most consecutive streak for wins in a row. I followed the depth of track every day prior to that race and 1 day after. He made the track favorible to CIGAR. He said to me. What YOU DO FOR A LIVIN,even though I dressed like a SLOP with paint all over me. I said ain't it apparent. He GOES: HOW DO A PAINTER KNOW ANYTHIN ABOUT HORSERACIN. Thank you MR.D. He avoided me for some years after,but we became friends about 6 years later. Mainly because me ARMY and so he and BOBBY BAIRD.

I might have related this some years back either here or at BARN. IFFFSS you alredy reed,pleeze dis-regard.
NOW it JUNE 8th 1968. Meeses Big gigantic FRANK family holdin a go away party for meese enterin ARMY. I knows attend. I'ss spend the day in left field bleachers at WRIGLEY for doubleheader. They really not care as they all party drunked up anyhow. The UNKS all served and wanted a send-off. So after leavin CUBS games I head over to a friends apartment who havin a all night poker game.
IT NOWS JUNE 9th 1968. I leafs the game about 2AM. Heads home to say good-by to me MOM. Has to head to me BUDS house by 4AM as he drafted like me and his DAD was goin drive us both to GENEVA ILLINOIS where we had to report at 6AM for bus drive to INDUCTION CENTER in downstowns CHICAGO. ME buds name was TOMMY LUPPELA. I always called his DAD MR.LUPPELA. Great ITALIAN GUY. He a WWII vet. So MR.LUPPELA stayin until we board bus. He slobbering all over makin good-bys thinkin we both never gonna be seen again except comin back in body bag. Soooes we now in INDUCTION CENTER. I'ss had another BUD who's DAD was head of KANE COUNTY BOARD and he say's to meese. JOHN you no have to go anywhere. His name is FREDDY THIERBACH. My DAD has arranged for me to EXIT and said he will do for you also. I told him. FRED I have no interest in AVOIDIN,get the FUC away from ME. FRED walked and to this day,have no idea what became of him.
But nows we in a room with about 50 peopples. Freddy also their. They calls his name and says step back. Then theys ask are their any concioustes objecters here, 3 raise hand and told to step back. They escorted out of room. Knows time for swearin in. I cannt'ss rememember whats we had to say in steps. When it over YOOOSE NOW ARMY or so one thinks. In walks some MARINE OFFICER. He walks thru the ranks and pics out 3. Then he says YOU 3 FUCS are now MARINES. WHEWWW. Luckey me,JOHN FRANK still ARMY and been at that point for 15 minutes. Weese have to spend day doin assistin DR>S. Then it about 7PM and time to head to AIRSPORT. Special plane for us recruits to head to FT.JACKSON,SOUTH CAROLINA. Had I known at time that LINDSY GRAMAHM and NIKKI HALLOO would be TOTAL INANE REBUG SHITS from that state I would have jumped off plane in mid-flight. NOWS I had been on planes before,but more the half on flight it their first time. IT 1968 so it a prop jet. We about 20 minutes from COLUMBIA,SOUTH CAROLINA. The plane hits some very violent wheather. Lighten strin all around. The pilot goes,make sure you strapped in,this goin be a tough trip. Guys are cryin,guys are prsyin and I'M goin,who cares. Were probaby goin be killed in VIET anyhow and this a easyway to go out.

So's we land. Everyone know grateful and has BRAVERY again. IT not me screamin. So there a bus at PORT to take us all to JACKSON. SARGES very nice. WE board and then delivered to JACKSON induction center. OH FUC. We dis-embark.Yooose gets of BUS with 4 drills yellin. YOU FUCKIN QUEER FUCS. YOU IN THE ARMY NOW. YOUR MOMMY ain't here to protect your QUEER FAGGOT ASS. And so begins "LIFE IN ARMY". More later.

I promissssed a day in harness.
So me and ANDREA spendin a day at races. We young. Weese take in action in afternoon at HAWTHORNE. Then I say's lets go next door for evenin harness at SPORTSMAN'S. It summer. Soooes I buy a lower box to enjoy the races. We bored and decide to drift to rail. I bet a horse called WIXXARD of ODDS. Only reason was cause that a 16 inch softball that I played on for many years. Thee pony won at 16-1 and I dropped the ticket,where me standin and fumblin around. Their a BLACK BOY standin near. I'M sure he shoed it. He leaves and comes back 5 minuuutes later. We goes into inside grandstand first floor. It gettin later races now,. The fuc say's to me. You nice PEOPLE. I don't have a ride to me PALACE. I forgot the name it not CABRINI but one of those high rice BLACK DUMPS. I goes you FUCKIN with me RIGHT. This me WIFE and you met her. The only rides I'SSS give you is to COOK COUNTY JAIL after I'SS taped your hands,feet and mouth. He went to his NIG BUDS and I went to SECURITY. MEESE and ANDREA got escorted to our vehichle. My advice and that long gone and somes of you say you loved SPORTMANS HARNESS. You would be CRAZY to visit the track at NIGHT back then.
