Washington Park in a snowstorm early 60's. What a beautiful site.
Chris Boring winning the invite.
I was stabled next to Bobby Williams barn when it burnt. What a bad site.

Later stabled next to Emmor Baily when he brought Dancing David and full brother Jeff Abbe to Chicago. Won with them and sold them to Charlie Goins, and Charlie then sold them to Farrington. We all made money on them two. Especially Farrington!

Big track kitchen . Always busy, Big Card games and Connell Willis shooting Pool.
All you can eat buffet every night in the grandstand. Life was good!

also loved betting DEL PLETCHER horses when him and DUNCAN PRICE would claim some

IRA  SMOLIN  was a young decent driver back then
also loved the BIG KAHUNA closing like a train with ALAN RIEGLE in the bike
