In the post big slot revenue days, you can do practically anything in canadian harness racing.

Most of us believe "Appeal" usually reserved for those who truly feel theyve got a case....Not for those caught-red handed...it simply bastardizes the word appeal.

Animal safety be damned. ((and in this case, I understand allegedly a young driver might have been in harm's way too.....can police ever get involved, if horsey-set dont?)

The guy belongs behind bars and the tracks and commission that allow it to continue do to. Wait until the news media and animal activists run with this

152:4, in February, 1/2 mile track, tight lines, a bow in his neck coming to the wire, plugs in...DISGUSTING.. .

If the race secretary or track management had any balls they would tell him, Your presence or entries at this track are no longer required...bye bye...

this entire process is a joke
i was under the impression he had a hearing on friday with the AGCO but cant find anything on their website
as for chocolate swirl last night another joke, and not like the previous trainers of the horse are unable to get one to "go"
i know it is a a bit of a boys club and keep everything locked down but if this guy was stealing money from me on the track i might be upset

The AGCO will only give you what they think you should know and when it comes to highlighting their incompetence by allowing this, forget it. The injustice to the bettors and the honest horsemen is what is killing the sport. They all should be behind bars for this but it will never ever happen.

Feb 26th at Western Fair;

Judges report:

Fred Bourgault was in to speak to the judges about investigative report. A review will be held at Flamboro on March 8 to give him a chance to have representation.

What will happen to him?

IF they were smart they'd draw blood on all his horses and camp out at his farm the days he is racing, see how they race then.
