Meadowlands is the worst. More speed favoring and single file than Pocono and Chester now

Nobody is forcing you to watch. Bet on NBA games instead if you prefer.

Mohawk is an interesting watch, now that drivers are being pushed to drive their own horses to the best of their ability and not worrying about their buddy in the next bike over's trip.  Holes are being filled, horses are being parked and it is making for more exciting action.

We have gotten so used to "excuse me", "drop in anytime" racing, that you forget how much fun it is to watch drivers screw each other, to the benefit of their own drive.    As a very small owner, 2 horses, it drove me crazy to have to select from one of the has been drivers at mohawk, over an up and coming young guy, simple because the young guy wasn't competing on an equal playing field with the clique.   Only the frenchmen were able to bust in, because they were handed full barns, including exellent horses.

  • JOHN FRANK: Had a great day. Went to grade school in mornin with 4 other vets. Love it when kindergarteners wonder what is that old white bearded man doin. the others were dressed in fatique unies as they in NATIONAL GUARD. Then went to CARPENTERSVILLE park to VETERANS MEMORIAL,for there service and was up for picture takig with 14 other vets. It was a tie between me and one other guy as to who was the oldest VET. Then went to VFW and thepread. Had some chow and a coke. No complaints on day so far. But: IT ain't over till its over.
