Just look at the Kentucky Derby and how the trainers and owners are dressed. Although they don't race as much their purses are so impressive they also have a great breeders award. You're right I can't argue with that.

What's embarrassing is when you look at the Kentucky Derby and then the Hambo attire.
The T-Breds have grade one handicaps $500,000 purses as a mediocre event sometimes on a weekly basis.

In the old days the Kings would race their horses against each other thus thoroughbreds.
Farmers would race against each other after church with horse and buggy.
That's why the difference.

It is funny seeing a post on Horseplop talking about class. Look at this board and the people who post here regularly. On a class scale where 5 is the most class and 0 is no class, this board and many of the regulars would rate a 1.

Totally agreed. As everyone knows I attend jug week every year and have for 45 years, living in Delaware. When I was a kid everyone dressed up on jug day...I still do.
Only a handful do that now..its mostly shorts and t-shirts ngc3
