This morning on the morning jug show, presumed a horsemen or owner asked Burke about an entree has in the 7th race today
Horse has 3 of last 5 starts in Sires Stakes - now raving at the fair level for $4,800.
Burke’s response. - while he said it looks like a scum bag move to drop so far, he needed a race for the colt going into the final.

Cant ever doubt his decisions. No one knows more
He did a similiar thing with Louprint and it worked out perfect.

How does a condition get written that allows a sires stakes horse to drop into a race that low?
Aren't good conditions supposed to ensure all the horses eligible have similar abilities, making the race competitive?
Or does Burke just need to call someone up to have conditions created to support his preparation schedule.

Pacer 2, I'd be ok if it was just random imperfection, but I have a feeling it's got more to do with corrupt favoritism.
-
I get a laugh out of every idiot who thinks favoritism doesnt or shouldnt exist. Its in EVERY aspect of life, all sports, all business, all politics ITS EVERYWHERE! ITS LIFE!! ngc3 ngc3 ngc3 ngc3 ngc3

You can't put restrictions on a fair stake, it wasn't an overnight This isn't the first time it's happened. It's Ronnie, he'd rather make a few bucks than just qualify.

It reminds me of the show horse girls parents spending 200k for ribbons. Spend 100k+ and race for 4k? I love how ego overides brains in this sport. Just saw luther win a 4k race. How much did that cost him to do? Fun is fun but damn no wonder owners and trainers are vanishing as fast as the bettors.

i get what he is doing but that is super classless. you can call him smart or genius.
i call him greedy, classless, scumbag. also, what kind of education does he have because he sounds like a fucking idiot when he speaks.

Thank you for calling it what it is. I see the situation 100 % the same as you.

Many are jealous of Ron, yes? ngc3

Some people want others not to succeed because they're losers in life, misery loves company.

Appreciate the response Jupiter.

How is it classless? If he wants to give his horse a tightener trip he has 3 choices.
1. Enter him in with the horses he needs a tightener to face. Take the horse back off the gate and give him an easy mile. Basically stiff the horse, fuck the betting public and be a stain on the sport. If judges handed out suspensions properly this wouldn’t be an option but sadly that’s not the case and scumbag trainers and drivers still choose this option ( Chantilly’s first loss is a prime example)
2. Put him in a qualifier . Earn zero money
3. Race him in a low level stake race he IS ELIGIBLE to because he was PAID into the stakes. He doesn’t stiff the horse. He gets his easy mile and gets some money from a stake program he PAID into.
I have absolutely no issues with Burke for choosing option 3.
My issue is with trainers and drivers who choose option 1. Those are the scumbags. They are the lowlifes. They are the ones who you should have a problem with..
Fuck those people

I'm guessing he has 30 million more than her in the bank. He owns pieces of all horses. ngc3 ngc3

He has a horse racing in Maine ( Nelson trained) Saturday in the Open that has $95,000 made for the year cause he needs the money... 😂
-
Has a few trained by Corey Callahan dad in Delaware.

maybe the sires stakes committee needs to do better
perhaps have a rule that once you leave the fair stakes to race in a buckeye or sires stakes you are no longer eligible to race in the fair program
