Title: NYSS Finals
Post by: Vince Treanor on September 07, 2025, 07:22:51 PM: I know this young Beckwith driver has some potential, but why would a trainer use him in these big 300,000 races in the NYSS finals. It seems like it would be a disadvantage for one.,

The real injustice is that Faraldo puts up a million bucks and pays for the foreign horse’s expenses. When he refuses to contribute to the Yonkers Trot or Messenger. Guaranteed he’s getting kick backs.

But, with YR being the home of the final for so many years, I just figured it was fait accompli. Why not have points/dollars dictate post position draw? Do the horses that did the best throughout the SS season deserve to avoid post 7 or 8 in the final?
