Who is ?

If you really have something you need to talk about find me on Facebook and message me. I'll give you my number once I know who you are. I keep people anonymous, but I don't communicate anonymously. My number isn't exactly a secret either, but I do want to know who you are.

How could anyone criticize Mike P for bringing attention to those who cheat this sport or abuse animals.
Thank you Mike for your efforts and balls for doing so.
I do believe that many others appreciate your diligence as well.

My usefulness in all this is pretty much past. Got the attention of all the commissions and governing bodies. There's no ducking reality and plenty of people are pissed. They're finally exposed and being questioned from higher authorities in each state. Now we sit back and watch.

Yet no one will make a move on Ford.  Sad he is getting a pass.  Or is something on the horizon?

You did a lot. For years everyone would say “honest horseman need to police the game themselves and report bad apples”. We now know after all you went through and fought through, how difficult it was for you. Not many people could have done it.
My fear is that stuff now will get swept under rug and the bad apples will let time pass because they know people will forget. Look at all bad criminals, politicians, etc, they lay low for a while and surface after the heat dies down.

Here's a little tidbit, so far two state attorney generals requested all the information that I've posted plus what I haven't. What does that tell you?

I hope Kentucky keeps suspending people that are on the list and phone taps that were buying the juice.  I don’t know how these guys continue to race and face people they have stolen from and continue as if nothing is out of order.
Thanks Mike for all you are doing and keeping these people accountable.   They think it will go away.

That mother fucking finally it's a priority for them!

Hopefully the 2 states will turn into all the state AG's where these crooks race.

The AG of NYS has a hell of a lot more to worry about than harness racing problems.

Yes, now that 47 is pres again, and that attempt to jail him failed.  ngc3
(You never arrest a POTUS present or former), they can know up to all the national security secrets, and they never can be under duress, laws don't apply, only common sense, they get a free pass and we hope they're not assholes.)

The opioid crisis lol.  She's getting pharmaceutical settlements for that.  ngc3

And she's making sure that babies can be aborted without delay i.e. mother's reproductive rights.

If the AG lost a couple of lbs, and those blow job lips, yum!  I love my sistas!  But I ain't a fan of the MAN unless I NEED him / her for something!   ;D

Im guessing that one of them wasn't from Ohio.  The cheating that goes on that southern circuit is crazy.   Scioto Downs put some in detention but they need to eliminate the problems.

You said 2 AGs had contacted you.  I was just trying to narrow it down a little by tossing NYS.

I'd put as an odds on favorite, Kentucky as one of the AGs.

Others in consideration...

DE
IN
NJ
NY
OH
PA

The other states that have harness racing would be big long-shots.

I didn't say "me". Though I can repeat that Letitia James has made it clear she will in fact investigate anything related to what she considers racefixing. Not to mention NYS Gaming is also aware of this.

No, that's the one that drew me to NYC to find Standardbreds in the park. Then I met Edita Birnkrant who is the one that really pushed that to the point it went viral and the city took it seriously. That's all her and NYCLASS.

Until Ohio gets to a level of Out of Competition (OOC) testing it will remain the Wild Wild West! The annual reports are a complete joke as the statistics are predominantly post race testing.  This is not picking up on the likes of EPO , and other synthetics enhancers, etc.  Also, the OOC testing jurisdiction needs to extend beyond racetracks and training centers. If a horse is being raced out of a field, or a private set up regardless of where it’s at, fair game! The punishment needs to be swift and stern.  This slap on the wrist and drawn out appeals are disturbing.  Would love to see compliance become a priority for the sake of the animal.  It’s tough to compete against these lab coat trainers!

The sad thing is it’s not rocket science to see based on performance pick me ups, and horses racing out of their skulls who the cheats are.  We can not only do better in Ohio, but nationally.   I don’t want to hear the cost argument, these cheats are stealing from people that have some integrity to them.

The hijinks at Yonkers have pushed owners (or at least this one) out of the business.

About the best FIRST POST i’ve read.

Thank you sir.

I’ve lurked on the boards for the last couple years. I’m vested in various arms of the business, but I’m becoming more reluctant to invest at the same levels and percentages going forward. The animal should remain the focal point of the decisions in this sport. Advocating for the horses is something that I applaud.  Mr. Petrelli has put himself out there and though I may not align with some of the tactics, his effort and persistence is appreciated by me
