AGCO is as corrupt as any other government agency.
They wait until Sylvain retires to ban him lmfao.
Absolutely no punishment for Fillion as he is no longer in the business.
But hey, let's make it look like we ruined 2 people's lives, when really, we are just punishing Moreau.
At the very least, claw back all his driving income from the date of the positive.
-
From the article...
"Filion is found to also have been acting as a trainer of the horse." ---- now that is interesting. Not Yves, but Sylvain. Sounds like Sylvain was a visitor to the farm, sat behind the horse, or whatever. Crystal clear however.
-
Guess we know why he is retiring

Maybe the adopted kid sob story can get a year or 2 knocked off?

everyone has their own opinion nd that is fair
i do not know the man and will not comment on him
however do not think the funtime bayama saga is over
i have no idea how much involvement the filions had in his training/suspension
but there is a connection there
weg/standardbred canada etc needs to show action, moreau obviously
they just elected sylvan filion to the hall of fame, do you think that within a year they wanted to suspend him if warranted
if they found cause/involvement they might have suggested he go away for a while
i am sure filion has wanted to go back to quebec, the funtime bayama circumstances might have moved that time up a little
who knows
-
they are all filthy french canadians same as the allards.
-
The obvious answer - more times than not - is the right one. In this case it would seem obvious that they let him know the suspension was coming and he wanted to go out his own way. I would also say that they must have Sylvain dead nuts because it would seem easy for Yves to take the fall and let Sylvain continue to drive.
The only way this stuff gets cleaned up is for the governing bodies to continue to bring the hammer regardless or who is involved.
-
hard to imagine but almost looks like in this case that moreau was the more innocent one
interested to see what this does to the sale of funtime bayama, i expect a quite resolution and some cash going back the other way

Nothing innocent about shadow training
Especially if you’re getting a cut

I think Yves may be the one getting off scot-free here, he's probably trained the horse alot more than Sylvain has.

NOPE.
Yves been at home with an ankle monitor since the Spring.
-
Why is he wearing an ankle monitor, what did he do?

Yeah with this sentence handed out, pretty interesting timing on "stepping away."

For what it’s worth, there were rumors in early 2024 months before all this went down that it would be his last year driving.

Nobody's life is in ruin - Moreau' s farm is now a training center

Exactly he's the Canadian Mark Ford, just has to become head of Standardbred Canada

This is just scratching the surface, the cheating runs deep in buggy racing

This has been brewing for a while. When that guy John Holmes reached out to me for help over the assault and I started digging it was clear Mr. Moreau was already navigating other issues. AGCO was already on him and then I added his latest litigation. They had no jurisdiction over that. However after multiple threats to his former buddy out of nowhere his attorney reached out and offered a settlement where Mr. Holmes would be financially compensated and held silent on the matter. My opinion? They're all fucked in the heads. This was his response to the initial complaint after I did a Livestream on his actions after a Christmas party. (https://iili.io/2oRN9vp.md.jpg)

Your gonna see some of these front runners not cutting the mile as often..a few trainers.

I believe when you bring up John Holmes that you are legally compelled to say "Joh Holmes, known PEDOPHILE".

What I think and what the court say aren't always the same. This is what's been going on. Moreau's empire was collapsing long ago. He lost all his friends on the inside.
-
This case should now be referred to the RCMP for criminal prosecution for injecting injurious drugs to an animal which is felony animal abuse.
Leverage Filion and Moreau with possible jail time and they will sing like canaries about other users.

RCMP does not have jurisdiction in Ontario, they do in the Western Canada provinces. Ontario has their own Ontario Provincial Police , which actually has OPP officers employed by AGCO ( the Ontario commission) . The AGCO seems very complacent to put on a smoke and mirrors show and Moreau and Yves Filion fell out of favor quickly so we're no longer protected by the higher ups. I don't know how Sylvain came to take the blame but obviously he was involved. Brad Grant one of the biggest owners there is was Moreau's main client , he had been Moreaus Teflon.
The doc Moores, coleman(beaton) , Roy and his gang are all still protected , the list is long but this will be all you see of it, it's all that's allowed.

FIXED IT FOR YOU.

YOU ARE CORRECT SIR.
Thanks
-
well with moreau and filion gone it will create opportunities for others
new drivers might get a chance
same with trainers although too bad all of brad grants horses went to mcnair
-
Pretty sure that's why he is selling some next week.
