Perfectly simplified and summed up. Thanks. I am confused at one thing however.....are you saying 95% of the people here love Petrelli? Am I missing something here? I would say 100% of the legit fans support quality treatment of the horses, aftercare, retirement, and so on. But him personally? The way he conducts himself? Who he is being when he's doing whatever he's doing? As far as I am concerned, if he spent 100% of his time and efforts on the treatment of horses-----which he does not-----I would still have a problem with the way he conducts himself and goes about his efforts.
IMO he doesn't operate inside the confines of, and in a collaborative way with, the sport and industry. Maybe that's because a good portion of the sport and industry wants nothing to do with him-----and that is because of the way he conducts himself. He conducts himself in a constant confrontational, antagonistic, and adversarial fashion. That's his choice. No sport and no industry will embrace that. They will ignore it and shun it and the person. Regardless, at least here, on this site, 100% of his time and efforts is not spent on equine advocacy. A major portion of it is spent on attacking people, the sport, and the industry. Thanks again for your post.
