10,000 to finish, pull up zero, he was lame before he made the break, pushing him was just going to make it worse.

he literally came to halt stepping over the finish line near the rail...sad to see. At least the injury wasnt life threatening. Too bad because he really could have took his share this year
so on the harness racing podcast live during the elims last wee they really were talking about his foot and how after the race they were really working on it post race. Not the same leg that he had at the end of last season. Beaver said it was fine, how could they not know given he looked funky even the week before in warmups

Guy takes 53 trotters to the county fair to race for $4500 - not someone I would consider has the horse or industry in mind
