Yes, both races were impressive.  Looked like he was going to be gobbled up at the top of the stretch at The Meadows, and just took off when the plugs were popped.

Another 2yo who seems to be "special" is Andy Miller's 2yo filly trotter.. Wall of Fame.  She has gone in 1:52 and change which early in the year for a 2yo filly trotter is superfast, and she jogged the other night in 1:52.3 with a last quarter that had to be under 26 seconds while showing real composure as she was pulling 1st. over for the lead around the final turn when Ake pulled the pocket right in front of her; Miller just took er 3+ wide and let her straighten up and go.  I agree about Shalom.  Saw his first race at Woodbine/Mohawk and like you, was really impressed.

"Doc" Moore has a top 2 year old every year from a very

 small group of yearlings..

 Clever Cody        Ohio Champ

Prince Hal Hanover    still racing!   4 year old

 Beau Jangles       OSS. Champ

 Shalom Hanover    TBD

  Magic..... every year ....

far exceeds all the trainers on virtually all the US and Canada

circuits.   (only Down Under Boyz can compete)

Florida trained and brings them up North

The horses are way ahead of their Northern trained counterparts all super muscled up...

And just glance at tonites Mohawk program lines in the

     $44K Open      Prince Hal Hanover..

No horse can race with the consistency of Moore's

4 year old pacer... 1 -2 virtually very race

    in Stake Races....never a clunker...week after week

and thats WITH Shipping to the US....

    Magic.

    Stanley Dancer/Billy Haughton

And Ian doesnt have 70-80 yearlings...every season

Maybe 10-12 on the pacing side....

He is by far the best.....

Doc has forgotten more about horses than those wanna be trainers in Ontario. Add to that he has unlimited funds to buy the best bred and looking individuals and only uses the best catch drivers how can he not dominate?

I agree with Agent Q

but if you look at the yearling prices he is not spending

all that much on yearlings..

Great horseman with a keen eye
