I also own some sawhorses in my garage, but none of them are used much.

The better questions which assume some level of ownership are:
 1. Are you a just a hobbyist or are you treating as a business?
 2. What are your financial results (+ or -) for each of the last 5 years?
 3. The last 7 years?

You - or anyone - own bits of 6 horses (+foals). Assume your income is $200,000 and your NW is $2Million

Another guy owns part of 60. His income is $2,000,000 and his NW is $20 Mil.

Is his opinion better than yours? By a factor of 10?

Calhoun owns 1/5 of a 2.5% share of Powerline, a 2 yo Flightline colt that sold at auction for $1.8 million. Marked up, etc... you can do the math.

I also owned small pieces of WIJI and Justify (TC Winner).

Also owned shares in 10 others that mostly burned every dollar.
