Any new track that’s every going to race has to be approved by IRB

I think by 2029 maybe Churchill gets in

I’m 63.  Hopefully I’m around to see Illinois harness come back

What happens to the two gaming licences hawthorne race course held

They get inherited by the new owner, the developer who will do nothing with them.  They are not a separate stand alone private asset, they go along with the track.  Even if the developer would want to continue racing that license transfer to be able to use would have to be approved by the IRB.

It's actually not a license transfer...

"New Application/Approval Required: Instead of a "transfer," the new track owner or operating entity must formally apply to the IRB. The Board must then convene a hearing to vote on granting preliminary and final approval for the new operator to hold a racing license." - IRB
