In Morgan's early days at Quad City Downs, East Moline Downs, Canterbury Downs and Chicago he was on a race bike or jog cart training all morning every morning. Thousands and thousands of miles.
The USTA lists him with 102,468 race miles. At maybe 3 miles in the sulky for ever race. That is 300,000 or so miles.
Add on maybe 2,000 qua races. Thats another 6,000 or so miles.
I am guessing that Tony has gone more miles behind a horse then any man since the start of mankind.
I wonder how many days, weeks, months, years behind a horse that totals?
That is a lot of farts to smell.

Hey GOOF - You ever hear of Bret Shultz? won a maywood trainer title with Morgan's help somewhere around the year 2000.

if you or GOAT never heard of him, check out his facebook page...he posted about Morgan winning 18000 drives...

Yes Bret became a top trainer with Tony’s help then was asked to leave Illinois or face a long suspension for his 7 positive test. You also had Gerald Hanson was barred from track restaurant for not paying his tab. All the sudden he is the claiming horse king of Chicago, every time Tony tells a trainer they need to put it in a claimer Hanson claims and runs it up to the open.

  • Sweet: Dream News reporting...Canad ian scientists working tirelessly last night to this morn have determined from the samples, BJ is to be declared the winner, BB & OOMM both came back positive and they're both suspended along with their trainers. BJ is still 16 / 16!  Oh Canada indeed! The streak continues!  ;D
